Life brings varied seasons, and there are times when contributing fifty percent doesn’t equate to merely splitting bills. It’s essential to recognize when someone contributes in other significant ways, making a profound impact. True provision is understanding that the essence of being a provider goes beyond issuing a paycheck. It involves a broader capability to support and sustain, providing both financially, emotionally, and practically, enhancing the very infrastructure of life.

Then out there, beyond my reach, is where you are.
Don’t waste my time, if you’re not up to the task,
For excellence and commitment are what I ask.
In the arena of effort, only the ready should stand,
Ready to give their best, to firmly command.
This isn’t just about being harsh or tough,
But about valuing time, when good isn’t good enough.
So step up with your best, or step aside,
In this pursuit, there’s no room for pride.
For every moment counts, every second is key,
In the dance of performance, only the prepared are free.

What is it that anchors me here, in this space?
Why do I linger, what ties me to this place?
Commitment binds, a silent, unseen thread,
But what fuels its strength, when hope seems dead?
Is it loyalty, or habit, or fear of the unknown?
What keeps me tethered, when I could have taken flight?
The comfort of the familiar, the fear of change,
Or something deeper, within the heart’s range?
I must examine closely, the roots of my stay,
To understand truly, if this is my way.
For commitment should not be a trap or a chain,
But a choice made daily, clear and plain.
If what compels me is genuine, a force of true good,
Then staying makes sense, as well it should.
But if doubts persist, and joy has fled,
It may be time to reassess, to think ahead.
For life is fleeting, each moment a gift,
And where we commit, our spirits should lift.
So, I’ll seek clarity, a sign, a guide,
To ensure my commitment is justified.

As I tried to be the example, to show you how to live, I gave my all, my love, all I had to give. In return, you’ve soared, exceeded every goal, Now you stand as the example,
the light that makes me whole.
As a parent, I’ve watched with pride, Your achievements, your journey, the way you stride. You’ve become the teacher, the guide for me, A testament to what true growth can be.
To continue to excel, inspired by your flight, I’ll educate myself, in both day and night. For as long as I have health and strength, I’ll seek new knowledge, go to any length.
In this beautiful cycle, we both find our place, Learning from each other, with every embrace. Together we grow, in wisdom and in grace,

Especially if complacency has taken the lead.
It’s easy to follow the path of least resistance,
To lose sight of our goals in the persistence

That keeps us stagnant, not letting us go.
So, assess your actions, the daily grind,
Seek out the routines that truly bind.
Change what’s misguided, make it right,
Embrace healthier habits that bring light.
Don’t let complacency dictate your pace,
Challenge yourself to find a better space.
In breaking free from unhealthy ways,
You’ll discover brighter, more fulfilling days.

It doesn’t matter what I’ve done, it seems to fade away,
Some people, no matter what, will never sway.
I’ve flipped and flopped, tried every approach in sight,
Yet nothing changes, nothing ever feels quite right.
It’s exhausting, trying to meet every shifting demand,
To adapt and change, trying to understand.
No matter the effort, the time, or the way,
It doesn’t really matter, what I do or say.
Perhaps it’s time to reflect, to pause and reconsider,
Why I’m striving so hard for approval that withers.
Maybe the key is not in their acceptance to seek,
But to find my own value, my own unique mystique.
It’s tough to accept, but it might be true,
That some things can’t be changed, no matter what I do.
So maybe it’s time to shift focus, and start anew,
To find those who appreciate, and see my value.
